Founder

Ramla Ibrahim founded New Patterns driven by her personal experience witnessing the challenges faced by immigrant women and families of color in the Fargo-Moorhead community. Her vision of equitable access to health and well-being services has grown into a comprehensive nonprofit serving hundreds of families across two states.

Abrafi Kyei oversees the day-to-day operations of New Patterns, ensuring that programs run smoothly and efficiently. Her dedication to organizational excellence helps maximize the impact of every program and service offered to the community.

Frank Rono - Director of Communications & Development

Frank Rono

Director of Communications & Development

Frank Rono leads communications strategy and development efforts at New Patterns. He works to amplify the organization's mission, strengthen community partnerships, and secure the resources needed to expand programs and reach more families in the Fargo-Moorhead community.

Staff

Our team of dedicated professionals work together to deliver all 12 programs across the Fargo-Moorhead community.

Program Director

Oversees implementation and quality across all 12 programs, manages staff supervision, partnership development, and grant compliance.

Family Services Coordinator

Manages the six Family Services programs: Healthy Beginnings, Parent Empowerment, Bridges to Care, Wheels of Hope, Cultural Bridges, and Community Connections.

Recovery Services Coordinator

Manages the six Recovery programs: Pathways to Recovery, Circle of Hope, Resource Navigator, Mentorship, Youth Enrichment, and Re-entry.

Administrative & Intake Specialist

Handles program referrals, client scheduling, data entry, file management, and front-desk support across both program categories.

Outreach & Engagement Specialist

Focuses on community outreach, event coordination, client follow-up, and building relationships with referring agencies.

Partnerships

Licensed Clinical Consultant

Provides clinical oversight for recovery programs, including treatment planning guidance, crisis consultation, and evidence-based practice alignment.

Cultural Liaison & Interpreter

Supports the Cultural Bridges program and provides culturally affirming interpretation and navigation services across all programs.

Data & Evaluation Consultant

Handles program evaluation, outcome tracking, and grant reporting to measure effectiveness and demonstrate impact to funders.
